This magical tool is the holy grail of Bitcoin recovery for all you crypto-nerds out there. And guess what? We’re gonna show you how to install and use it in Ubuntu Live USB, because who needs Windows anyway?!
Before anything else, lets grab ourselves a nice cup of coffee (or tea if thats your thing) and get ready for some serious Linux action.
Step 1: Get yourself an Ubuntu Live USB. You can do this by downloading the ISO file from their website or using a tool like Rufus to create one on Windows. If you’re feeling adventurous, you could even use Etcher on your Mac (or Linux) machine.
Step 2: Insert that bad boy into your computer and boot it up! You might need to change some BIOS settings or press a key during startup to get into the boot menu, but don’t worry Google is your friend.
Step 3: Once youre in Ubuntu Live USB, open up Terminal (you can find it by pressing Ctrl + Alt + T). Don’t be scared, we won’t hurt you!
Step 4: Update and upgrade the system packages using this command: `sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y`
Step 5: Install BTCRecover with this command: `sudo apt install btc-recov`
Step 6: Wait for it to finish downloading and installing. This might take a while, depending on your internet speed. But hey, at least you’re not waiting in line at the DMV!
Step 7: Once BTCRecover is installed, open up the application by typing `btc-recov` into Terminal. You should see something like this:
