[/] Let’s get started with our hilarious and easy-to-follow guide on installing Kali Linux. First things first, you need to download the amd64 image from their website (https://www.kali.org/downloads/) or use your favorite torrent client if you prefer that method. Once it’s finished downloading, burn it onto a DVD or USB drive using your preferred burning software. If you don’t have any of those handy, just stick the ISO file on a flash drive and boot from there!
Now that we have our Kali Linux installer ready to go, let’s head over to our computer and start the installation process. First things first, make sure your computer is set up to boot from CD/DVD or USB (depending on which method you used). If it doesn’t automatically detect the device, you may need to change some settings in your BIOS or UEFI firmware.
Once that’s done, insert the Kali Linux installer and reboot your computer. You should see a menu with various options for booting into different modes (such as “Live” or “Install”). Choose whichever one you prefer we’ll be using the graphical install option in this guide.
After that, select your preferred language and location. Then, choose your keyboard layout and network settings. If everything is working properly, Kali Linux should automatically detect your internet connection (assuming it has DHCP enabled). Otherwise, you may need to manually configure your network settings or skip this step altogether.
Next up, create a user account for yourself with a strong password. This will be used to log in and access the system once it’s installed. You can also set up additional users if needed (such as for sharing resources).
After that, select your time zone and choose whether or not you want to encrypt your hard drive. If you do decide to go with encryption, make sure to use a strong password otherwise, anyone who gains access to the system will be able to read all of your data!
Finally, review your settings and click “Continue” to start the installation process. This may take several minutes (depending on the size of your hard drive) as Kali Linux installs all of its necessary files and configurations. Once it’s finished, you can reboot your computer and enjoy your new Kali Linux system!
And that’s it congratulations, you now have a fully functional Kali Linux installation on your computer! If you ever need any help or support, feel free to reach out to the Kali Linux community for assistance.
